Caring
for Floorcloths
The floorcloth is a durable, functional piece of art which requires little
attention and care when placed on the floor or wall. Many have commented
that floorcloths are more durable than linoleum!
Never put your floorcloth on a carpet or on top of another fabric/pile
rug. It was designed for hard surfaces, wood floors, tile, concrete,
linoleum type floors. This avoids scarring the canvas and the finish.
Your floorcloth should have carpet tape or duct tape at each corner
to insure that it doesn't slip.
Transporting/Storing
Whenever you transport or store your floorcloth, ALWAYS roll the design
side out! Cover the design surface with a soft paper or cloth and
then roll the DESIGN SIDE OUT! A core to roll on helps maintain the
even shape.
Cleaning
Clean your floorcloth with a non-abrasive cleaner that doesn't leave
a film of soap. Use small amount of a soft liquid cleanser on spots.
Use a soft cotton cloth or sponge for general cleaning, although you
can use a soft bristle brush if there is dirt ground in. NEVER SCRUB
HARSHLY. |
